ROLE

Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high-quality carbon credit programs, is actively seeking an experienced leader to drive sales performance initiatives in the EMEA and UK&I region. Positioned at the forefront of a strategic transformation phase, we are dedicated to taking climate action and making a substantial impact.

Using your strategic mindset and exceptional leadership skills, you will have responsibility for cultivating a high performance culture in the Client Solutions team, to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets in the region, whilst ensuring a best-in-class experience as a trusted partner to our varied corporate clients.

You will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the dynamic voluntary carbon market, knowledge of business drivers for clients to develop carbon offsetting programmes; a proven ability to lead and scale a sales region; and deep expertise to coach a talented team to nurture and close deals for both existing and new clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Contribute towards and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve growth targets, market expansion and revenue diversification, ensuring customer success and revenue growth in the region
  • Build and lead a high-performing regional team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture, ensuring profitability targets are met to scale impact
  • Manage and drive achievement of KPI’s, and where achievement falls short, create remedial action plans for improvement, or to respond to market changes
  • Monitor market trends, market opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform and refine the overall go to market strategy in the climate solutions space
  • In collaboration with the Sales Operations function, lead and guide the regional team to ensure streamlined and efficient processes.
  • Develop and implement best practices for sales operations to enhance productivity and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to analyse sales performance, identify trends, and make informed recommendations for improvement.
  • Effectively network across the VCM market to build the Climate Impact Partner brand and grow strategic relationships in the region
  • Establish and maintain operational excellence, driving continuous improvement
  • initiatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Global Director of Project Development, Director of Product Development, and the Global Sourcing Director, to ensure seamless communication and execution of business objectives, across product and supply.
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure strategic marketing and outbound activity is aligned to regional sales strategy and customer segmentation.
  • Collaborate with Commercial team to shape pricing strategies for best commercial outcomes
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure the professional development of team members, working with HR to ensure training is in place.
  • Align the team with the company's vision and values, fostering a sense of shared purpose.
  • Utilize market intelligence to drive informed decision-making and adaptation of sales strategies.


CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE



  • Proven experience in a senior business development leadership role, preferably within the environmental or sustainability sector
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, expanding market share, and leading strategic initiatives in regional or international markets
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • A continuous track record of hitting and exceeding targets is critical, combined with strong influencing skills
  • Structured key account management leadership skills
  • A track record of driving fast growth in a B2B market with the ability to develop opportunities and relationships to drive growth across a technical industry
  • Dedicated to providing best-in-class services to clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of the carbon markets, sustainability, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel within the EMEA & UK&I region as needed.
