Volunteer Partnership Board Member / Trustee

What will you be doing?

We work with other organisation and run many projects for the community such as gardening clubs for schools as well as in the community, a safe environment for residents who might feel lonely and isolated, a youth/sport clubs for young people, a youth café, a food bank to name just a few. We are looking for more experienced board member to join our committee on a monthly basis to make the important decisions for the residents living in the community.

What are we looking for?

The trustee or board member must be highly committed to the cause and to have at least 3 years experience as a trustee, board member, executive manager, director or someone who understand how charities work. Social media or comms would be an advantage.

What difference will you make?

Supporting the projects to run and grow effectively. Encouraging the local community to be involved. Enhancing the streets' aesthetics in the community. Supporting young people with meaningful and healthy activities and decrease boredom and anti-social activities. Supporting the local children to enjoy physical activity and gardening and to be more aware of healthy eating and looking after their environment.
