- Proven track record in managing effective payroll with managerial experience.

- Knowledge of accounting entries and experience with complex accounting software.
- Multi-site and multi-company operations experience is desirable.

What you’ll be doing…
We're nestled in the picturesque Wash Farm in Devon. As a vital member of our Finance Team, you'll report directly to the Financial Controller, ensuring that our co-owners receive their well-deserved pay.
You’ll be responsible for the full end-to end payrolls, delivering a weekly payroll to ~ 500 co-owners and monthly to ~ 500 co-owners. It's a big responsibility; and as our Payroll Manager, you'll also provide payroll support and guidance across multiple sites, all while leading a dedicated team of two co-owners.
You’ll also be instrumental in shaping and transforming our payroll systems to make the processes as efficient and effective as possible, as we continue to evolve to meet the future needs of a growing and fast-paced business.

Requirements….
- A proven track record of managing a highly effective payroll, with managerial experience essential.
- Payroll qualification – fully CIPP qualified and a current active member of the CIPP.
- In-depth current and comprehensive payroll knowledge, with a working understanding of benefits in kind
- Uses own initiative to resolve issues and to assist the team where possible, by providing a range of solutions and seeking advice where necessary.
- Evidential grasp of accounting entries and postings.
- Experience of a complex accounting software solution would be an advantage.
- Experience of multi-site and multi-company operations would be desirable.
- Customer service focused, with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
- Proactive team player, with an analytical mind.

Location - Based at Wash Farm, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU, with the opportunity to work hybrid. Reliable transportation is required to commute to Wash Farm, as it is not accessible by public transport routes.
Salary – £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
