Role Summary

  • Provide a welcoming reception for youngsters, staff, and visitors.
  • Manage delivery space, facilities compliance, and office equipment to ensure the Centre's safe and efficient operation.
  • Maintain an understanding of the difficulties faced by our target young people.
  • Engage with multiple functions of the Trust on varying day-to-day tasks, requiring good planning and organizational skills.

Role Requirements

  • Must be approachable, passionate, and non-judgmental.
  • Administrative experience is useful but not compulsory.
  • A good understanding of the issues faced by the young people we support.
  • Strong planning and organization capacities.

We are looking for a Centre Coordinator to join our team in our Belfast Centre on a permanent basis. In this role, you will provide a warm and welcoming reception for young people, staff, and visitors over the phone and in person, so if you are approachable, passionate, and non-judgmental, this could be your role.

You will indirectly support young people by ensuring that our Centre operates safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing delivery space, facilities compliance and controlling office equipment and supplies. Having previous administrative experience is beneficial but not essential.

To be successful in this role, you must have a good understanding of the challenges young people within our target groups face, to assist them when they arrive in our Centre. In this role, no two days are the same, you get to be involved with many different functions of the Trust and interact with everyone who works in the Centre. This is why planning and organisation skills are a must.
