About Unmind

Unmind is a workplace mental health platform. We empower employees to live more fulfilling and balanced lives by changing the way organisations around the world think about mental health. We believe that everyone has the right to a healthy mind – because we all have mental health, all of the time – and we’re striving to create a world where mental health is universally understood, nurtured, and celebrated.

Having closed our Series B funding in April 2021, and looking ahead to our Series C, we're excited about the next stage of growth which will enable us to deliver on our mission to improve the mental wellbeing of ten million people in organisations around the world. We’re a fast-growing team with over 170 Unminders across London, Sydney and New York.

We have ambitious plans to change the perception of mental health and we still need help in achieving them– which is why we’re looking for an exceptional individual to join as our first Performance Marketing Manager.

Uniting Behind Uniqueness

One of our values is “Unite Behind Uniqueness” based on the belief that humans are endlessly unique and their opportunities are equally important. In order to fulfil our mission, we want our team to represent the diversity of our users which is why we’re committed to building an inclusive workplace where we encourage everyone to bring their whole selves to work. We want to foster a culture where everybody feels included, heard, and equal – regardless of age, disability, gender, neurodiversity, marital or parental status, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

If there are any adjustments we can make that would help improve your experience with Unmind, please do let us know when you apply or email us at [email removed - click apply for more details].

The Role – Performance Marketing Manager

The last year has been a transformative period for the topic of mental health. We've all gone on our own wellbeing journeys – for many it has been an opportunity to reflect, for others it has been a time of struggle and resilience – but there are hopes of a silver lining.

Never before has society put such an emphasis on discussing mental health and, in doing so, many organisations have a new appreciation of what's expected of them to empower their people to live more fulfilling lives inside and outside of the working environment. Unmind has been fortunate to be in a position to support organisations and their people on this journey, and scale significantly as a business in the process.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to own the development and execution of our global digital media and campaign strategy. This will be our first in-house hire in this area and we're looking for someone who can collaborate with the wider marketing and design teams to mature and elevate our performance marketing activities across our core markets; the UK, North America, and Australia.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Drive campaigns from planning to execution and beyond to meet key performance indicators that include lead generation goals, addressability/quality, and CPA.
  • Understand our product and proposition inside out. Research competitors and their strategies to find the gaps in the industry and accordingly set up marketing and advertising goals for the brand.
  • Leverage audience insights to better segment, target and reach potential customers.
  • Use multi-touch attribution to track touch-points across the funnel, which will help maximise Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaign effectiveness.
  • Explore new marketing opportunities such as social media channels, apps, ad formats, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to guide A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and spend scaling tests on campaigns online and offline to identify what works best.
  • Partner with the brand content team to build our search presence.
  • Produce and maintain a strategic calendar of Performance Marketing activities that can be shared with internal stakeholders, and develop the processes necessary to manage these activities in an efficient and effective way.
  • Constantly optimise marketing activities to improve return on investment - maximise Cost per Acquisition (CPA) and efficiently scale new customers.
  • Allocate budgets and analyse and recommend modifications to ad spends across the globe.
  • Set and hold a consistently high bar for design and content quality of all activities and materials.

Requirements

We encourage you to remove education from your CV upon application as qualifications are not a driving factor in our decision making and we are committed to tackling educational inequality. We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. However, some experience in the following is important for this position:

We're looking for people who:

  • A proven track record of managing and scaling Performance Marketing activities across a diverse range of channels and formats inc. LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Facebook Ad Manager and Google Adwords.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving with experience and exposure to leading analytics and database tools.
  • Gain motivation and energy from building strong relationships and collaborating with a diverse range of individuals and teams in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
  • Can manage alignment across multiple stakeholders – internal and external – and prioritise a broad and complex scope of work from ideation to delivery to performance analysis.
  • Are confident to challenge the status quo, propose original ideas, and set ambitious targets that shape the future direction of Performance Marketing at Unmind.
  • Have a deep commercial understanding of the B2B or B2B2C business model and how clients and users make decisions.
  • Have a passion for mental health, tech-for-good, and generally improving people’s lives.
  • Autonomous attitude (you do not require (or like) micro-management).
  • Hungry to make Unmind the global category leader of workplace mental health.

At Unmind we believe in having a whole person approach and we hope that our benefits enhance the lives of Unminders, helping them be happy, healthy and fulfilled. You can see the full details of our benefits on our careers page, but they include:
