Founded in 2018, Greater Change has grown to a team of 10, and has now supported over 500 clients, 70% of whom move out of homelessness and into long term stability with our support. Our ambition is to directly support 6,000 people per year, whilst maintaining client outcome success rates.
We’re in a strong position to continue growing exponentially: we’ve just received our largest amount of investment yet and have rapidly growing revenues. We've won many awards including one from The Prime Minister and we have strong partners such as Livingbridge, Oxford University Innovation and Newton Europe.
We are looking to appoint a CMO to help build and scale the social enterprise. The new CMO will be a key member of the leadership team, partnering with the CEO.
The Opportunity
We are looking to appoint a CMO to help build and scale the social enterprise. The new CMO will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with the CEO (Co-Founder).
Main responsibilities
- To significantly increase the number of donations through our online platform
- Increasing engagement with our brand amongst those that have already given, such that people give to regularly and feel connected to the brand
- Managing agencies and freelancers, such as SEO, content design, ad buying etc.
- Lead communications with journalists
- Manage the existing marketing team which currently consists of 2 FTEs
We understand that this is a diverse set of skills and typically marketers will have deep specialist experience in only one or two of the areas.
Preferred experience
- Experience working in marketing at a startup or small marketing team, anywhere you’ve had to ‘wear many hats’
- Expertise in digital marketing, including Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and tools that provide actionable insights into conversion
- Experience in optimising use of a marketing budget
- Experience of managing other people
- An understanding of the Charity sector
- Experience in managing agency relationships
- Experience in online B2C sales

Compensation
- £50,000/year
- Impact linked bonus
