What you’ll be doing…
You’ll be joining a cross-functional digital product team, fully responsible for Riverford’s customer-facing websites and mobile app. This highly skilled team includes engineers, product designers, content and SEO managers, all working together to make Riverford’s digital shopping experience best of class.
Riverford is an e-commerce business like no other, and we have a website to match: a bespoke system, built in-house, that’s easy to use and allows great flexibility in how our customers shop. You’ll be helping our team bring exciting new functionality to our websites and app – for example, taking advantage of our huge database of recipes, or adding novel personalised features – enabling Riverford to deliver ever improving products and experiences to our customers.
Technology is key to Riverford’s success, and you’ll be integral in designing and delivering software solutions that enable outstanding customer experiences.
What is the salary? Circa £60,000 per annum
Skills & experience…
- Capable of bringing to life user interface designs using web technologies.
- Proven experience in commercial software development.
- You will have built great software and helped teach others how to do the same.
- Expertise in HTML and CSS, with up-to-date knowledge of the tech and best practices for building responsive, accessible websites and apps.
- Great modern JavaScript skills, well versed in working in a functional style.
